Daniel Tan, one of the founder
and partners, Business Development of Marketing & Event at SPOC, explained

runs a direct marketing unit for customers and manages calls, emails,

The clients of SPOC range from
FMCG brands, gas, brewery, banks, to government sectors who demand for complex
and highly results driven campaigns. In the year 2005, SPOC carried out a
banquet cum concert for 10,000 guests for the Guinness Gala Banquet at Singapore
Expo. VVIP Mrs Goh Chok Tong was amongst the special guest for the event.
Daniel Tan continues: “in the management of the event, we had to handled the
magnitude of the entire 10,000 guests with special logistics. We set up
security checks, managed food & beverages, and provided creative programs
that blended in with the energetic atmosphere of the night that resulted in a
smooth execution for the positive experience of the guests ”.
SPOC organised a carnival for
the inaugural Launch of Active Ageing Festival and Council for Third Age which
saw a 6,000 participation and the inaugural Grand Parents day walk for 3,000
participants. With the aim to change the mind-set of ageing group to adapt an
active life style, the programs showcased various wellness selections and
activities. Executing it at an unique venue for a carnival at the plot of land
over Dhoby Ghaut MRT, there were performances like a specially created
choreographed active ageing dance, wushu, and an installation of a modified
rockwall for seniors. We built the programs and activities with detailed
services to create a memorable event for the
participants“
“All in all, they were
successful events which achieved the clients’ objectives and positively engaged
the participants” recalled Daniel Tan.
